Bayou Boogaloo is a free music festival held on Bayou St. John in New Orleans, LA.
The music festival captures the spirit of the culturally diverse and historic neighborhood takes place May 20 - 22, 2011. It is family friendly event that celebrates the heritage of New Orleans music, New Orleans cuisine, and New Orleans culture.

Friday, May 20 schedule features the music of Cyril Neville's Tribe 13, N'Fungola Sibo, and Jumpin' Johnny Sansone.
Saturday, May 21 from 11 am - 9 pm the following artists will perform: DJ Jubilee, Delfeayo Marsalis’ Sweet Thunder, Donald Harrison & the Congo Nation, Los PoBoy Citos, DeBauche, Flow Tribe, Tuba Skinny, Guitar Lightnin' Lee, Pinettes Brass Band, Big Chief Alfred Doucette, Beth Patterson, Johnny Dilks Band, DJ Brice Nice, Cullen Landry and Midnight Streetcar, Jane Harvey Brown Trad Jazz Allstars, and The Bonoffs.
Sunday, May 22 from 11am - 7pm the following artists are scheduled to perform: Big Chief Monk Boudreaux’s & Golden Eagles feat Billy Iuso, Washboard Chaz Blues Trio, Khris Royal and Dark Matter, Sasha Masakowski and Musical Playground, Lagniappe Brass Band, Paul Soniat, Kristin Diable, JD Hill & the Jammers, and Kevin Sekhani.

The French Quarter Jazz Festival is Louisiana’s largest free music event, a three-day local talent music showcase scattered throughout the Bourbon Street district (French Quarter) as well as Jackson Square and Woldenberg Riverfront Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. There are music performances on 15 stages. Nearly 500,000 visitors and locals will fill the French Quarter for the 24th annual French Quarter Jazz Festival, which takes place in New Orleans, LA in the Historic French Quarter April 7 through April 10, 2011.
